The Machine Quilter's Oath© is a great way to start a class, guild meeting or just to get in the mood. This is just a gentle reminder that you are talented, creative and imaginative my quilting friend. Post it by your machine and repeat after me.......
So, how does one come up with these things? Guess when you are writing a book about "how-to" machine quilt, the words just happen...well sort of.
I often wonder what would we do if this incredible creative medium of machine quilting did not exist?! Besides....what we do is joyful, exhilarating and sew addicting...this is for you my talented quilting friend. You are free to reproduce this in its' entirety with copyright information included.
The Machine Quilter's Oath Remember to stand and raise you right hand and proclaim
I (say your name) can machine quilt.
I will approach my machine with confidence and dignity.
I will give my machine a loving name, and all the oil it wants.
I will not be afraid to try, I will enjoy the process.
And I will become the machine quilter I want to be!
