      I got your book thinking it would be different feather designs which it was but I didn't expect the hooked feather. I have good backtracking days and bad backtracking days but now I think why bother. Your hooked feathers are so fast to make. They are so versatile. I can make long and short feathers.
     I can fill odd spaces. Can you tell I am thrilled.
     I had a some backing and batting left after a quilt so I put muslin on top of it and tried your feathers. I split it into two pieces making two table runners about 12" x 45". I had been making 2 wheelchair quilts at the same time also splitting them apart. I put an S shaped motif on both of them also since it would not show in the print. It went so well and they were so gorgeous, I put on thread that would show up and quilted away. (Check out her pictures)
     Thanks for your work to share this technique with all of us. It is fast and easy but most of all beautiful. I can't wait to do the other charity quilts so I can try the fancier freathers you showed. I have to close because I have to go order your DVD.
