WHY IS THE TERRY TWIST SO FORGIVING?
I just could not get the corner to corner arc to look right. Hence, the Terry Twist Design was created so you "never have to be perfect". Its design is a unique asymmetrical pattern sp bobbles and wobbles disappear because the eye does not notice the imperfections. It almost designs itself in borders, blocks, sashings, edge-to-edge, fills, meanders and much much more. Plus patterbs aooear different in each area, yet are coordinated.
WHICH DO I CHOOSE - RULERS OR STENCILS
Students often ask me which should I choose, the Terry Twist Stencil Set or the Terry Twist Rulers? If you like Free Motion Machine Quilting then I would recommend the Stencil Set. If you like more control then choose the Ruler Set. I thought I would use the Stencil Set more but I found for the larger areas I use the Ruler Set...stencils to rulers it is about 40% - 60%.
Some choose both sets because they are so easy to use and make such fabulous patterns.
